How to Install encfs software package in Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr)

encfs software package provides encrypted virtual filesystem, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install encfs

encfs is installed in your system.

Make ensure the encfs package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep encfs *

You will get with encfs package name, version, architecture and description in a table
